Founder-led healthcare navigation
WardNav was created by Callum Hamlin with a simple mission: help people find their way around hospitals with less stress, while giving healthcare organisations better tools to support visitor flow.
Why WardNav exists
Hospitals are built to deliver care, but for visitors they can often feel overwhelming. Multiple entrances, long corridors, different departments, changing floors and unclear routes can turn a simple visit into a stressful experience.
Patients, families and visitors often arrive already worried. Getting lost can make the experience harder than it needs to be.
People may arrive at the hospital on time, but still lose valuable minutes trying to find the right ward, clinic or department.
Healthcare staff and reception teams often have to answer repeated direction questions, taking time away from other important tasks.
Founder mission
WardNav is being built step-by-step as a platform for visitors, hospitals and future partners. The goal is not just to create an app, but to build a useful navigation system that can support better hospital experiences.
Help visitors search for wards, clinics, departments, entrances, lifts, toilets, cafés and other important hospital locations.
Give hospitals the potential to understand visitor demand, common routes and wayfinding issues over time.
Create a calmer, clearer experience for people who may already be facing an emotional or time-sensitive hospital visit.
The current website is the foundation: it collects waiting list interest, hospital demo requests, advertiser enquiries and platform feedback before the full app build continues.
Build the public platform, collect real interest, publish resources, track leads and understand demand.
Shape the visitor app around real feedback from users, hospitals and healthcare conversations.
Work toward real hospital mapping, onboarding and practical navigation pilots.
